River House provides safety and services for survivors of domestic and sexual abuse.   But who is protecting their pets? River House serves four counties and helps hundreds of survivors a year but is not equipped to house pets.

Many women decline to seek safety because they fear their pets will be harmed or killed.

Can you help? If you are able to foster these pets in need, safely in your home, for a few days, a few weeks, or at most a few months please fill out the Foster Application Form (click here to view and print a copy) and either email it to office@riverhouseinc.org or mail it to:  River House, Inc., PO Box 661, Grayling, MI 49738.  Please call 348-3169 with any questions.
