River House is proud of its affiliation with the Community Foundation of Northeast Michigan. This affiliation provides an investment opportunity for on-going annual support to River House, once the minimum goal of $500,000 is reached. Charitable gifts are tax deductible. Those giving $5000.00 or more are recognized on the Tree of Hope in the lobby of River House, Inc.
Heart of the Home Club Annual Fund
Heart of the Home Club members are special and River House wants to recognize those who give by offering a Heart of the Home Club pin and recognition in the Annual Report. Those pledging $5000 or more to the Endowment will also receive an engraved leaf on the Tree of Hope. Members are recognized by their annual gifts in the following categories:

| Silver Level: | $500 - $749 |
| Gold Level: | $750 - $4,999 |
| Tree of Hope Endowment | $5,000 and up |
River House General Operating Fund
As we have come to rely less on government funding and more on our neighbors, the importance of the General Operating Fund increases. Donations in any amount are appreciated and go toward operating expenses to provide emergency shelter, advocacy and specific assistance to clients for such things as transportation, clothing, prescription costs, and other needs.
By registering at www.igive.com, and indicating River House, Inc. as your chosen "cause", up to 26% of your purchases will be donated to River House. There are no extra fees and over 600 stores to choose from including Barnes & Noble, Staples, and Sears, to name a few. You can even book your next trip at Expedia and have a portion of the sale go toward River House services. Shop and support survivors!
Drop your cell phones off at River House. We have teamed up with Shelter Alliance which offers cash to shelters in exchange for cell phones.
