Meet Volunteer: Dan Ketchum

By Dan Ketchum

My name is Dan Ketchum, and I choose to volunteer at River House.  A few years ago, I began contributing to the monthly needs list.  When I learned that River House needed a handyman, I decided that I could help with that, also.  I have trimmed bushes, replaced lights, and assembled chairs.  I have installed a variety of items, including locks, bulletin boards, televisions, a dishwasher and a bike rack. I definitely feel appreciated for my contributions. I have lived in Grayling for over 10 years, where I work as a clinical pharmacist at Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital.  I am also a certified referee for both youth and high school soccer, and I oversee youth referees in my role as referee coordinator for Crawford AuSable Soccer Association.  For fun, I enjoy photography, playing piano, and skiing with my wife and two sons.
