River House has a Youth Advocate that works with survivors within the counties of Crawford, Ogemaw, Oscoda, and Roscommon.

Using trauma informed training, our Youth Advocate uses art, play, and games to help children and youth process their feelings about difficult situations. This can be done in a group setting or with one-on-one advocacy.

Parenting and Children's Services and Support is offered on a one-on-one basis with the non-offending parent.

These groups are for school aged children who have experienced domestic violence, sexual abuse and/or bullying. They meet in a safe and supportive setting for snacks, crafts, and discussion that is designed to be developmentally appropriate for the group. Topics discussed may include safety planning, good self-esteem, and understanding that the violence is not their fault.
